Remember Remember, The Month Of Movember!

Movember - What a month!

Its that time of year again, where we get to sit back and enjoy the artwork growing on peoples faces, made all the better by the fact its for such a good cause!

Its quite a regimented procedure with some strict rules! For those unfamiliar with Movember, the rules are as follows:
  1. Once registered at Movember.com, each Mo Bro must begin the 1st of Movember with a clean-shaven face.
  2. For the entire month of Movember each Mo Bro must grow and groom a mustache.
  3. There is to be no joining of the Mo to your side burns. (That’s considered a beard)
  4. There is to be no joining of the handlebars to your chin. (That’s considered a goatee)
  5. Each Mo Bro must conduct himself like a true country gentleman.
Easy enough? Get involved...its not too late!

I've witnessed some rather interesting ones already, 9 days in.Unfortunately, as a female this is something that I'm unable to get involved in! We will however be donating a percentage of sales from our Movember range to the cause. This ode to the mustache will be released very soon.

In the mean time, keep those tashes growing!

To infinity and beyond! (Well maybe don't grow them that long!)

Some Questionable Micro Pumpkins

Happy Halloween!

Which ghost is the best dancer? The Boogie man! (sorry, I just had to)

It's that wonderful time of year again where we get to eat lots of yummy treats and dust off the horror classics. We're getting into the Halloween mood here whilst singing along to The Nightmare Before Christmas (My singing is probably the scariest part of it all).

Anyway, I just thought i'd show you what was keeping us busy late last night on Halloween Eve, is that a thing? well it is now!

Vuola... Micro Pumpkins! These are actually a lot smaller than they look,so small infact that the heat from the candles made them shrivel up prematurely, making them look even scarier (well, maybe not Mickey!)

Unfortunately Mr Pumpkin lost his hat due to it being so shriveled and his head is very close to collapsing...he's had a rough night! I'm sure he'll stay strong long enough to scare a few trick or treaters though.

Moral of the story: Get to the shops early enough to purchase full sized pumpkins (It could have been worse though, I was eyeing up the Oranges before I spotted these micros!)

Have you been busy doing any fun Halloween traditions? Any scary pumpkin pictures to share? I'd love to see them!

Before signing off i'll leave you with one more...

Who won the skeleton beauty contest?     No body!  (Haha come on, that one was pretty good)

Have a great Halloween all. Hopefully our pumpkin won't give you any nightmares!

Hello!

Hello and welcome to our blog!

I've never actually done a blog before so i'm not too sure if that's how you begin it? Never mind we shall move forth!

As I said, welcome! I'm very pleased to see you here!

We are Threads Of Jupiter and we are about to commence on a very exciting journey and would love to take you along for the ride...should you wish to come of course, which I very much hope you do!

Before submitting your attendance, first you'll need to know a little bit about who we are and what we do I imagine. That is what this post is for, episode one if you will, of our journey.

We are a new business start up that shall be hand designing and selling our clothing through the means of Etsy (and who doesn't love Etsy!).

What makes us different to all the other clothing lines on Etsy I hear you ask? Well to quote Fagin - ''you've got to pick a pocket or two'' - No no, we are not petty thieves! We will be producing our designs onto the pockets of T Shirts (cute, no?).

That's as much detail as I will go into about that as this blog is not here to ram the products down your throat its all about our journey! A journey which I hope will excite and inspire people along the way to get more crafty and to begin your own adventure!

To infinity and beyond!
